Seattle-based Amazon.com has brought the cloud closer to the everyday consumer with the debut of their Cloud Drive and Cloud Player apps. These apps allow your to upload your digital music library to Amazon's media servers, or the Cloud Drive.
The Cloud Player then serves as an MP3 player, allowing you to play your music on almost any internet-connected device wherever you happen to be. The Cloud Player can work on a computer, smartphone, or tablet using WiFi or a cell data plan. AS a launch special, the company is offering 15 additional gigabytes of storage for a year at the cost of one digital MP3 album. And music that you purchase form the Amazon MP3 store automatically loads into your account, and does not count against your storage limit.
